Our next battle will be Sept 18th at Coal Creek.
Captains: We intend to begin the first battle at 11am, if you are not ready to be on the water by 11am and 4 ships are, you will not participate in the first sortie. If you need time to set up and prep ships, come early. I recommend arriving at 10:30 or earlier to give yourself enough time. There will be a 20 minute break between each sortie to repair ram damage and make mechanical and electrical fixes to your ships as needed. After the first battle consisting of two sorties is complete (roughly noon) we will break for lunch before embarking on the second and third battles. Hovey will be in charge of maintaining the battle / sortie schedule and making everyone aware of it throughout the day.
Guests and Interested visitors: You are welcome to show up at any time and feel free to ask questions between sorties. If you take photos or video I would love to get copies if possible. We generally have a convoy ship or two in need of a volunteer to captain it around the course while we try to sink or defend it, feel free to volunteer yourselves if you are there. We do have some safety glasses available if you do have your own.
